5. San Jose Sharks 28-12-6: The Sharks are 6-4-0 in their last ten games.  The Sharks did suffer a big loss this week. Logan Couture had to undergo hand surgery. He will be out three to four weeks. Couture joins Tomas Hertl on IR. Can the Sharks stay afloat without both of them?

4. Pittsburgh Penguins 33-12-2: The Pens are 7-2-1 in their last ten games. Sidney Crosby is a HART trophy Candidate. Will Sid the kid be the Captain on Team Canada? Shocker of Team Canada: Chris Kunitz getting selected.

3.  Chicago Blackhawks 29-8-10: The Blackhawks are 4-1-5 in their last ten games. They are not losing many games during regulation but they have not been winning many lately. The Blackhawks have moved Marcus Kruger to the second line center position and moved Michal Handzus to third line. Is that a desperation move?

2.   St. Louis Blues 31-8-5: The Blues are 8-1-1 in their last ten games. The Blues seven game winning streak was snapped by the Canucks this week. The Blues keep locking up their core. Ryan Reaves joins Alex Steen with new contracts this season.  They have four games in hand on the Blackhawks.

1. Anaheim Ducks 34-8-5: The Ducks have the best record in the NHL and are now five points clear of the Blackhawks and Penguins. They have won six in a row. Both Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf were named as members of Team Canada. Jonas Hiller has 13 straight wins. What could go wrong for the Ducks? Well Getzlaf left the game on Saturday night with a lower body injury. Getzlaf sustained the injury while blocking a shot. There is not timetable for his return. QUACK QUACK QUACK!!!
