10. Vancouver Canucks 26-17-9: Head Coach John Tortorella was suspended this week for 15 games without pay. Torts was suspended for trying to fight the Flames head coach last week. His team meanwhile is struggling, they are 3-5-2 in their last ten games.

9. Tampa Bay Lightning 31-16-5: Another week and another hat trick from another lightening player, this week it was Tyler Johnson. In a rookie showdown with Nathan MacKinnon, Johnson netted three goals in a victory over the Avalanche. Steven Stamkos practiced this past week and had light contact. He is very close to coming back.

8. Boston Bruins 32-15-3: Trade Brad Marchand?  Marchand must have heard people talking. In his last six games, he has six goals and two assists. In those six games, the Bruins are 3-3. Marchand probably won’t be traded, but could Adam McQuaid ?

7. Los Angeles Kings 29-18-6: The Kings took part in the first Stadium Series game this season at Dodger Stadium against the Anaheim Ducks. The Kings were shutout 3-0. The Kings have lost four in a row. Jonathan Quick has lost three in a row allowing 2 or more goals in each of those losses.

6.  Colorado Avalanche 32-14-5: The Avs are 6-3-1 in their last ten games. Nathan MacKinnon leads all rookies with 17 goals on the season. The Avs are getting some reinforcements too. Alex Tanguay will return to their lineup after missing 36 games due to injury.
