Not only is this the dog days of winter and on the express pass to the Olympics but now we are faced with the dreaded S word.  Hearing the Slump word gets old for a team that only has 2 regulation losses in 20 games.  Yes, the Hawks are not firing on all cylinders but they are not in full slump mode losing games in regulation on a regular basis.  If the Hawks are slumping it has a strange selective slump mode with the Hawks beating Boston and Anaheim while losing to Winnipeg.  So with the Hawks facing the Canucks I’m fully expecting a spirited effort from the Hawks tonight.

Last Game Prediction– I had the Kane goal correct but missed by a fraction of an inch on a Pirri assist, and missed by a country mile on the Bickell goal.

Tonight’s Prediction– The Hawks show up and play a great game and beat the hated Canucks 4-1 with another Kane goal and a Versteeg goal just for fun!
