Olympic competition must have been extra tough for 2010 Team Canada because Patrick Sharp couldn’t find a spot on the roster. A hot scoring streak at just the right time and two Stanley Cups may have improved his chances. This will be Sharp’s first trip to the Olympics and he will be playing with Blackhawks teammates Duncan Keith and Jonathan Toews.

Sharp will most likely be expected to be the shooter and goal scorer that he is known to be in the NHL. He has 28 goals and 30 assists in 60 games on the season, but with all of Canada’s talented forwards, goals will be spread out across the team. Sharp’s over/under for the Olympics is set at 2 goals, 3 assists.

What is your prediction for Patrick Sharp’s first Olympic experience?
