Gold Medal Game- Canada Vs Sweden: TV Listings, Live Streaming & More

By Keith Schultz

The final game in the 2014 Olympic Hockey tournament and 6 Blackhawks will be on center stage including 1/2 of their defense units.  If the slogan is defense wins championships than these two teams deserve to be here by shutting down their opponents game in and game out.

Jonathan Toews scored the opening goal in the 2010 Gold Medal game and is now looking for his second gold medal in consecutive Olympics in the same year he’s looking to add a Stanley Cup in consecutive seasons.  Duncan Keith was on the 2010 team as well, but Patrick Sharp will be looking for his first Gold medal of his career.

Team Sweden is led by its back stop in Henrik Lundqvist but if the Swedes get in trouble look for the Blackhawks to be out there to bail them out defensively.  During the semi-final when the Sweden PK was on a 5 on 3 there was Marcus Kruger, Johnny Oduya, and Niklas Hjalmarsson on the ice defending the Swedish goal and blocking shot after shot!

As a Blackhawk fan nothing can go wrong today 3 will leave with a Gold medal and 3 will leave with a Silver! Here is the viewing info from the Gold medal matchup this morning.
