20: Ottawa Senators 26-22-11: The Senators will need to rely on their stars to come through down the stretch. They are going to need Jason Spezza, and Erik Karlsson to step up large. Karlsson had a great Olympic tournament winning the Silver Medal with team Sweden. The Senators are right on the cusp of the playoffs.

Last ten: 5-3-2, lost 1

Playoff Chances: 80%, they trail Detroit by 1 point with 24 games remaining. They are 10th in the East.

19. Columbus Blue Jackets 29-24-5: The Blue Jackets are riding high ever since Nathan Horton joined this season. The Blue Jackets are hoping that Sergei Bobrovsky does not have a hangover after the Russian failure in Sochi.

Last ten: 5-4-1, lost 1

Playoff Chances: 88.89%, they trail Detroit by 1 point with 24 games remaining. They are 9th in the East.

18. Vancouver Canucks 27-24-9: The Canucks have gone from in the playoffs to on the outside looking in. Before the Olympic break, the Canucks had dropped SEVEN in a row. They are going to need Henrik Sedin and Daniel Sedin on the top of their game in the home stretch. Henrik is currently injured with bruised ribs. Roberto Luongo should be motivated after watching another goalie win the goal medal.

Last ten: 2-8-0, lost 7

Playoff Chances: 80%, they trail Minnesota by 6 points with 22 games remaining. They are 10th in the West.

17. Phoenix Coyotes 27-21-10: The Coyotes Oliver Ekman-Larsson spent most of his time in Sochi on the end of the Sweden bench stretching. He should be very motivated to play hockey for the Coyotes. Mike Smith also should be well rested after not playing much in Sochi. The Coyotes will need both if they want to make the playoffs.

Last ten: 4-5-1, lost 7

Playoff Chances: 88%, they trail Minnesota by 5 points in the West. They are currently seated 9th.

16. The Dallas Stars 27-21-10: The Dallas Stars might be ahead of schedule. The Stars were not supposed to be a playoff team this season. They were supposed to be a year away, well do not tell Dallas that. Jamie Benn will be energized after having reached the top of the Olympic mountain.  The West should watch out for Dallas down the stretch.

Last ten: 6-2-2, won 1

Playoff chances: They are currently 8th in the West.

15. Detroit Red wings 26-20-12: The Wings are currently clinging to the 8th spot in the East. The Wings suffered a big loss in Henrik Zetterberg due to a back injury. He will be out for seven weeks. Johan Franzen could be back from his injury this week. Can Detroit hang on?

Last ten: 5-3-2, lost 1

Playoff chances: They are currently in playoffs slated to play the Penguins.
