Jonathan Toews Graces The Cover Of Sports Illustrated!

Jonathan Toews will grace the cover of SI for Team Canada this coming week. Toews is shown celebrating after scoring the game winner for Canada. Toews added a second gold medal to his ever growing list accomplishments. Toews has two Stanley Cup Championships, one Conn Symthe Trophy, One U 17 gold medal, Two World Junior Champions golds, one World Championship gold and is the youngest member of the Triple Gold Club.  Toews also was awarded the Best forward of the tournament in the 2010 Vancouver games.  Toews also was named the youngest captain in Blackhawks history.

This will be the second time Toews has been on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Toews is not the only Blackhawks players to be on the cover of SI recently. Patrick Kane was on the cover of the NHL preview issue, Daniel Carcillo graced the cover during the streak, Marcus Kruger was on the conference finals issue, and Dave Bolland was Stanley Cup Finals Issue.

Toews will rejoin the Blackhawks practice on Wednesday. The Blackhawks will take on the New York Rangers on Thursday in New York. The Blackhawks then will wrap up the NHL Stadium Series on Saturday Match 1st against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Soldier Field. It will be the first ever hockey game at Soldier Field.
