Marian Hossa didn’t appear in the final 6:34 of the first period of the Stadium Series game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.  Hossa only played 5:06 of ice time in the first period.  Hossa was listed as Out for the rest of the game with an upper body injury during the first intermission.

This is bad news for tonight, but hopefully the injury isn’t very serious and won’t last for an extended period.

Look for a whole lot of Brandon Saad the rest of the game.

We will update Hossa status if any other updates are given, but this is hockey so its probably not going to happen.

Get better soon Hossa!
