The day has finally arrived and now we get to see the Blackhawks and Penguins from Soldier Field. Between the two franchises they have won 3 of the last 6 Stanley Cups and both their Captains have left the Olympics with Gold medals that last two times the Games have been played.  Both rosters are loaded with offensive talent and so hopefully we are ready for an offensive show on Saturday night.

The home of the Bears will host an NHL hockey game for the first time ever so a Stadium that has seen Billy Graham, the Pope, The Long Count, Stock Car races and even ski jumping can add to its impressive resume.

Last game Prediction– I didn’t correctly predict Peter Regin would break up the shutout with 11 seconds left in the contest so there is that!

Tonight’s Prediction– Lots of Predictions here since it’s a special occasion.  Pierre McGuire gets hit with a snowball, Brandon Bollig scores in the first period, Soldier Field runs out of hot chocolate, and someone will show up in the last second to give Crawford his mask the game is on NBC. Oh yea and the Hawks win 4-3.

What is your prediction for tonight’s game at Soldier Field?
