25. Nashville Predators 26-25-10: The Predators have been riding the goalie carousel ever since Pekka Rinne got injured. Rinne is close to returning, he will be heading to Milwaukee for an AHL rehab stint. If all goes well he could be back in the Preds net in a week or so. Rinne would mean that Carter Hutton cold be sent back to Milwaukee and Devan Dubnyk would be the Rinne backup. With all of that in play, the Preds are probably done making moves this season.

Trade Deadline Status: Standing Pat

24: Ottawa Senators 26-23-11: The Senators have lost their last two games in a row. They look to right the ship in the Tim Horton Classic against Vancouver on Sunday.  Expect the Senators to be making some moves before the deadline. General Manager Bryan Murray has made two moves in the month of the deadline since taking over as GM. Chris Phillips could be sent from the Boston Bruins to the Senators.

Trade Deadline Status: BUYERS

23: New Jersey Devils 26-22-13: Jaromir Jagr scored his 700th goal this week, however, that is not big story with the Devils. The big story is the trade rumors surrounding Martin Brodeur.  The Devils have had scouts from the Wild, Blackhawks, Flyers, Penguins, Stars, Sharks and Islanders there to watch them play. The Wild and Blackhawks might not be there to scout Brodeur, but you never know.

Trade Deadline Status: SELLER

22. Carolina Hurricanes 26-25-9: The Carolina Hurricanes have not regained their glory from 2006. The hurricanes have stated that they would be willing to trade one of their three goalies including Cam Ward. Ward would not be a rental player.  He has two years and 6.3 million per year on this contract. Despite the Ward rumors, he probably isn’t going anywhere, look for Anton Khudobin or Justin Peters to be moved by the Canes.

Trade Deadline Status: SELLER

21. Phoenix Coyotes 27-22-11: The Coyotes have been an offensively challenged this season. If Coyotes want to make a playoff push, they need to get a scorer at the deadline. Possible targets for the Coyotes are Matt Moulson, Tomas Fleischmann, and Ray Whitney.

Trade Deadline Status: BUYERS

20. Winnipeg Jets 28-26-6:  The Jets are in an interesting position, do they buy players at the deadline or do they sell players? Goalie is a position that the Jets can upgrade. Ondrej Pavelec is under contract for three years but he has been up and down.
