The last time we saw the Blackhawks it was a fantastic snowy night at Soldier Field and oh by the way they found their offense on a field that the home team has historically not been very offensive.  Now the Blackhawks head to their real home at the United Center and they face a young upstart team that is trying to build themselves as the Blackhawks from 7 years ago starting to climb the mountain.

The Hawks and Avs have played to two blowouts and one overtime game so on the eve of the Trading Deadline tonight’s matchup is anyone’s guess.  The Hawks lost Marian Hossa for 2 to 3 weeks and historically they struggle the first game out after an injury until everyone knows their new roles.

Last Game’s Prediction– No one hit Pierre with a snowball as predicted but Bryan Bickell did score a goal in the Hawks win in the snow.

Tonight’s Prediction– The Avs will come in hungry and ready so this will not be a blowout but a nailbiter with the Hawks coming out on top with Patrick Kane finding the back of the net in a 5-4 Blackhawks victory.
