This is my team! It’s a line from Hoosiers when Gene Hackman only plays 4 players when he has an eligible player on the bench. Yes I know it’s a basketball reference but after the trade deadline has passed it’s what Stan Bowman and Joel Quenneville have said to the Blackhawks fan base! This is my team.

The Blackhawks now have 19 games left in the season before the real season starts and it will be without a true star #2 center (don’t forget we don’t number lines)  The Blackhawks get their first look at the Columbus Blue Jackets a team that the Hawks have owned for years now.  The one player that use to thrive when the other teams name was Blue Jackets is gone now to Nashville in Viktor Stalberg. Stalberg even had a hat trick against the Blue Jackets while wearing #25 for Chicago.

Tonight is a game where the Hawks need to regain their consistency which hasn’t been there for some time now.  The dog days of winter are in the rear view mirror and now it’s time to buckle down and get to the Regular Season finish line!

Last Game Prediction- None of us had it right and it’s really getting me upset that I’m not even getting close!

Tonight’s Prediction- Kris Versteeg plays the part of Stalberg and scores twice in a 5-3 Hawks win.
