David Rundbladthe newly acquired defenseman, of the Chicago Blackhawks, from the Phoenix Coyotes, will make his debut, for the Hawks, tonight, against the Buffalo Sabres.

Rundblad is part of the Hawks’ 3-man 6th defenseman rotation, that also features Michal Rozsival and Sheldon Brookbankon a game-to-game basis.

The Blackhawks’ up-temp style of play should be complimented well, from Rundblad, as he more of a puck-moving defenseman, however it may take a bit of time for the Hawks to become used to his style of play, and it may even take Head Coach, Joel Quenneville a bit to find the most effect time and ways to deploy Rundblad, but better late than never, as the 23-year old blueliner may even end up being a valuable piece of the Blackhawks’ d-man core.

You never know.
