2. Figure Out The Lines

I know what Stan Bowman said during his post trade deadline press conference about the Hawks don’t number lines, but let’s be honest the Hawks have two lines that Joel Quenneville trusts, one that he likes and a third line that is a mess. The real decision when Marian Hossa comes back is what to do with the 2nd and 3rd lines.  Watching Brandon Saad with Toews makes you remember what the top line looked like last year with Hossa, Toews, and Saad. That being said Toews, Hossa and Sharp have been great all season and the Kruger line is a Q favorite. The real question is who will play with Kane and by the way that Shaw has meshed with Toews why not try Shaw with Kane? Getting the 2nd and 3rd lines straightened out and playing with confidence will be a huge task with so little time left in the season.

1. Stay Healthy

The biggest thing that could hurt the Hawks chance to repeat is health! Getting Marian Hossa will be great and much needed, and it’s good to hear that he’s on schedule to return in a couple of weeks.  Of course you can’t play not to get hurt, but this is the biggest to do before the playoffs begins for any team including the Blackhawks.

What do you think should be on the Blackhawks To Do list?
