Another night and another Central Division matchup.  This one unlike the one earlier this week it will be against the last place Nashville Predators.  The Preds are a pesky defensive team that will bore you to death and to make matters worse they got their star goalie back in Pekka Rinne.

The Blackhawks after losing Wednesday night are in a dog fight for home ice advantage with the Colorado Avalanche and the St. Louis Blues.  The Blues keep on winning and putting space between the Hawks and themselves so the #2 seed in the Central may be the best option right now. The finish line is in site will the Hawks start to show some urgency or will they skate like they did Wednesday night when the urgency came too little too late.

Last Game Prediction– I had to final score correct expect the fact that it was a Avalanche 3-2 win. The Captain didn’t continue to his scoring streak so it was a pretty bad night on the prediction front.

Tonight’s Prediction– The Hawks consistency struggle has a lot to do with lineup consistency but the one player that has been really consistent this season has been Ben Smith on the 4th line and tonight he will pick up a goal in the Hawks 4-2 victory!
