5. Pittsburgh Penguins  42-17-4: The Penguins fell behind the Bruins in the East Standings. Sidney Crosby and the Pens were shutout against the Flyers this week. It was their fourth shutout of the season. They will take on the Candiens in the first round.

4. Boston Bruins 45-17-5: The Bruins are RED HOT winning 8 in a row. Jarome Iginla had his 22nd and 23rd goal on Saturday. He has 53 points in 67 games with the Bruins. Milan Lucic also reached a mile stone on Saturday reaching the 50 point plateau for the third time in the last four years. The Bruins are scheduled to play the Flyers in the first round.

3. San Jose Sharks 44-17-7: The Sharks are the second hottest team in the NHL winning 5 in a row and are 8-1-1 in their last ten games.  Can the Sharks make a deep run in the playoffs? The Sharks seem to be playing well when they enter the playoffs but never reach the Cup. Joe Thornton, Joe Pavelski, and Patrick Marleau want to change that!

2 .Anaheim Ducks 44-16-7: Could the Ducks be struggling at the wrong time? The Ducks are 4-4-2 in their last ten games. The Ducks have been trending downward since the Stadium series games against the Kings.

Ryan Lambert of Yahoo Puck Daddy Summed the Ducks up perfectly:

“Even over a full 82, sometimes teams that are only kind of good, which is what Anaheim seems to be on the balance, can look great. Then the playoffs start, and you realize those Cup dreams of October and November and December and January were an illusion, and your team little more than a paper tiger. But there is one positive to take from this: The Ducks are shaping up to be one of the best also-rans in league history”.

1.   St. Louis Blues 46-14-7: The Blues realized they had something this special this season. They made a blockbuster trade for Ryan Miller. Since joining the Blues, Miller is 5-0-1 with a 1.82 goals against average and a .924 save percentage. The Blues were a very good defensive team and now they added a World Class Goal Tender.. SCRARY!
