The Blackhawks are back at it after a full day of Teuvoness.  The Blackhawks are now a M.A.S.H. unit with Michal Rozsival, Brandon Saad, Patrick Kane, and Bryan Bickell missing the game tonight against the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Hawks in case you missed it will not be playing recently added Teuvo Teravainen tonight either, but Rockford star Jeremy Morin will be in the lineup and this will be a huge opportunity for Morin without worrying about getting his playing time handcuffed by Joel Quenneville with all of the injuries. Morin has  a 12 game audition to make his mark.

The Hurricanes are a .500 team with some great stars (Staal’s) and a goalie in Anton Khudobin who is playing pretty good so this isn’t a cake walk with the limited roster the Hawks will be throwing out there tonight.  The Hawks are still a deep team and in times like this shut down the Harlem Globetrotters routine and turn into a lock down defensive unit grinding out wins.

Last Prediction– Since I’ve been out of town on vacation I gave the prediction a mini-vacation too, I would have picked the Hawks to win against the Blue but probably not in shut out.

Tonight’s Prediction– The Hawks are going to grind out a 3-1 win with recalled Jeremy Morin scoring in his return.
