24. Nashville Predators 30-31-10: Despite being essentially out the playoff picture the Predators can have an impact on it. The Predators take on the Blackhawks on Sunday. The Predators do have some hope for the future in Callie Jarnkork. Jarnkork debuted Friday, he recorded an assist and was a plus two rating.

23: Ottawa Senators  28-29-13: The Senators are having a tough year. The Senators recalled Andrew Hammond earlier last week. Hammond was 20-15-3 in the AHL this season. The Senators have to play the Lightning, Panthers, Blackhawks,  and Flames this week.

22: New Jersey Devils  30-28-13: The Devils are holding out hope that they can make the playoffs one last time for Jaromir Jagr. They trail Detroit by six points with 11 games to play. They have seven at home and four on the road.

21. Carolina Hurricanes 31-31-9: Rumors have surfaced this past week that the Canes will be trading Cam Ward and one of the Staal brothers during the offseason. Ward is 9-11-5 with a .896 save percentage with a 3.09 goals against average. This is his worst season since his rookie year.

20. Winnipeg Jets  32-31-9: The Jets are in the hunt for the playoffs. They trail Phoenix by six points with 10 games to play. In a must win, the Jets cold not solve the struggling Cam Ward. Bryan Little did his part in that game scoring a goal on six shots and recorded one hit.
