9. Toronto Maple Leafs 36-28-8: The Maple Leafs were embroiled in some controversy this week.  James Reimer has been AWFUL as of late.  He has lost his last eight starts in a row. Reimer last win came on January 21st. On a positive note, Dave Bolland made his long awaited return to the Leafs on Saturday. Their other goalie Jonathan Bernier is still dealing a groin injury and missed his fourth game in a row.

8. Tampa Bay Lightning 39-24-8: Do you think the Lightning are happy Steven Stamkos is back? He recorded a hat trick last week against the Candiens. The hat trick was in his seventh game since breaking his leg four months ago. The Lightning are 5-2-3 in their last ten games.

7.  Colorado Avalanche 44-21-6: The Avs are fighting for home ice over the Blackhawks. The Avs have owned the Blackhawks this season. They are 4-1-0 against the Blackhawks this season. The Avs currently trail the Blackhawks by three points with eleven games to play. The Avs also know that Blackhawks have not been able to solve Semyon Varalmov this season.

6.  Chicago Blackhawks 41-15-15: The Blackhawks are in a dog fight for home ice advantage with the Colorado Avalanche. The Blackhawks suffered a huge blow this week as Patrick Kane suffered a LOWER BODY injury. Kane will be out at least the rest of the regular season. On a postive note Jonathan Toews continues his torrid pace since the Olympics. The Blackhawks also recalled their top prospect Teuvo Teravainen to replace Kane on the roster.
