Will he or won’t he is the question this morning.  Will Teuvo Teravainen make his Blackhawks premiere tonight or will it be Teuvo Tuesday? Joel Quenneville said during Friday’s morning skate that they expected to get Teuvo on to the ice and see what they got sometime on this homestand which is either tonight or Tuesday against the Dallas Stars.

It seemed really impossible for Teuvo to make it to the ice on Friday after travelling half way around the globe on Thursday, but tonight could be the day most Blackhawks fans have waited all season or at least the past couple of weeks to see.  The prized prospect with glowing recommendations from all over the planet finally takes the ice wearing #86 for the Chicago Blackhawks.

It could be possible for Q and Bowman to be waiting for everyone that is banged up to get back on the ice before throwing Teuvo out there.  Having Brandon Saad and Bryan Bickell out there instead of Sheldon Brookbank and Peter Regin could be a reason to wait for Tuesday if Saad and Bickell aren’t ready for puck drop tonight.

It feels like the week before Christmas and your parents have all the wrapped gifts under the tree and you are stuck staring at them day after day knowing you don’t get to see what you got for Christmas and the suspense is killing you!  Teuvo is here and all we have is 15 minutes of him doing drills during Morning Skate Live.  It’s terribly exciting to know we are this close to possibly having the 2nd line center situation finally solved but will we get to see him tonight?

I’m sure we will know something by today’s morning skate but until then it’s just another morning staring at the gift underneath the Blackhawks Talent Tree!
