It’s official now! Teuvo Teravainen #86 in your program will be skating on the ice tonight as the Chicago Blackhawks host the Dallas Stars at the United Center. The day that seemed like it would never come like High School Graduation is finally upon us and we finally get to see the long-awaited arrival of Teuvo.

Are you excited? I know I am, and even fans of hockey that don’t cheer for the Blackhawks are extremely interested and probably a bit fearful of what talent the Blackhawks now have on their roster. The Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup last season with an over the hill straight ahead skater at the 2nd line center in Michal Handzus.  Last season, Handzus had the knack for coming up big at just the right moment, but no one ever feared him with the puck on his stick.  Today the possibility that a player with a ton of talent and imagination centering the 2nd line is now a reality.

It seemed liked everything was pointing to Tuesday night start for Teuvo with Dallas being a good team to take on for your first game with some rest and practice thrown in for good measure. What an opportunity for Teuvo to join the Blackhawks roster that is already full of Championships! Let the fun begin!

It’s Teuvo Night AT The UC!!
