24. Nashville Predators 32-32-11: The Predators are still hanging out to SLIM playoff hopes. The Preds trail the Coyotes by nine points with seven games remaining. Unless they play the Blackhawks all nine in a row they will not be making the playoffs.

23: Ottawa Senators  30-29-14: The Senators are having a tough year. Forward Bobby Ryan was shut down for the season earlier this week. Ryan underwent surgery on sports hernia that he sustained in November. Ryan had 20 goals and 25 assists in 70 games.

22: New Jersey Devils  31-28-15: The Devils could be saying goodbye to two hall of fame players this offseason. Jaromir Jagr has already stated this will be his last season. Martin Brodeur is up in the air on if he will play again. If Brodeur does play again will it be with the Devils?

21. Carolina Hurricanes 32-32-10: The Canes are looking toward the future as Anton Khudobin is getting more starts recently.  He is 16-12-1 with a .929 save percentage and a 2.22 goals against average. The Canes also agreed to terms with Phil Di Giuseppe on three entry level contract.

20. Winnipeg Jets  33-33-9: The Jets might be regretting standing pat at the trade deadline. The Jets trail Phoenix by nine points with 7 games to play.
