The Blackhawks hot start to the season is saving them right now from facing must win games without their stars. The Hawks are in the middle of their first three game losing streak of the season and the last time they lost three straight was the Detroit Red Wings series which kind of well did end up the right way in the end.
The Minnesota Wild need wins although the team in the #9 spot has been dropping game on a regular basis in the Phoenix Coyotes. That being said the Wild are only 4 points ahead of the Coyotes while sitting in the 7th seed. They are still in need of picking up points on a nightly basis unlike the Hawks who have secured their spot for the 2014 Stanley Cup playoffs.
Last game Prediction- I must say since the Olympic break my prediction’s have gone hairwire and it’s getting a little frustrating. I nor did anyone else have a 4-1 loss at Pittsburgh so it’s back to the drawing board for tonigh’t matchup at the United Center.
Tonight’s Prediction– I look for the youth of the Blackhawks to come out flying with something to prove tonight and will have a big push and Andrew Shaw starting as the #1 center will have a big game with a goal and assist in the Hawks 4-2 victory.
