25. Calgary Flames 33-38-7: The Flames are hoping some of their prospects will ban out in the future. Johnny Gaudreau of Boston College was a Flames fourth round pick in 2011. Gaudreau leads all of college hockey with 35 goals and 77 points in 39 games. Pressing question: Is their Plan going to work?

24. Nashville Predators 34-32-11: The Predators are still mathematically eligible for the playoffs. They currently trail Dallas by 8pts with 5 games to play. They will take on Sharks, Stars, Coyotes, Blackhawks and Wild to finish their season. Imagine their season is Pekka Rinne had not gotten hurt? Pressing question: Should they change their team’s philosophy?

23: Ottawa Senators  33-31-14: The Senators came into this season with a lot of promise. They were hoping to build off last season’s playoff success.  They still have some playoff hope. They trail Columbus by 5 points with 5 games to play. They have the Rangers, Islanders, Devils, Leafs, and Penguins. If the Senators want into the playoffs they are going to earn. Pressing question: Can they make the playoffs?

22: New Jersey Devils  34-28-16: The Devils are on the brink of making the playoffs. They have won their last two games in a row. They trail Columbus by just 1 point with four games remaining. They have the  Flames, Senators, Islanders, and finish with the Bruins. It seems to be setup for the Devils. Pressing question: Does Jaromir Jagr have one run left in him?

21. Carolina Hurricanes 34-33-11: The Canes are trailing Columbus by 6 points with 7 games remaining. The Canes have the Rangers, Capitals, Red Wings, and Flyers left on their schedule. They seem to be out of the playoff race. Pressing question: Will they trade Cam Ward?
