The Blackhawks take on their most hated Central Division rival this morning at the United Center. The St. Louis Blues arrive today in Chicago after getting smoked and shut out yesterday by the Colorado Avalanche. The Hawks and Avalanche are going to be playing against each other in the playoffs the only question is who will be hosting Game #1.  Today could be a decisive game in that home ice advantage with the Baby Hawks taking on the Blues.

The Hawks after losing their two biggest stars have started playing a simple game and it has paid off with two straight victories. Who will be in the lineup is always a mystery with Joel Quenneville but one thing is certain he’s found a player that has truly won him over in Ben Smith.  Smith has gone from fourth line grinder to being placed in almost every line and situation for Chicago and it he’s rewarded them with solid efficient play all season long including the Game winner with 3.7 seconds left in the game against the Columbus Blue Jackets Friday night.

Here is the viewing information for today’s nationally televised game
