The five month schedule with the Olympics thrown in the middle is finally over and the real season is about to begin! The Chicago Blackhawks face a wounded animal in the St. Louis Blues a team that isn’t just injured it’s dying a slow death which included 6 straight losses.

The Blues started the season as one of the hottest teams in the NHL, but in the end it couldn’t lock down the #1 seed and first round pass from the defending Stanley Cup Champions. The Hawks and Blues seemed to play every season in the Norris Division playoffs at the Checker Dome and Chicago Stadium back in the day, but they have only played one playoff series in the past 20 year so this old school meeting will be exciting!

The question for this afternoon is how do you see the series ending? If you follow our blog you know I enjoy predicting the future so now I’m going to do it again in a poll version so everyone can enjoy!! I have the Hawks winning in 6 games with it being a lot harder than everyone thinks it will be even with the Blues in a tailspin! What is your prediction for the series that starts in St. Louis?
