Stanley Cup Playoffs Viewing Party: Live Streaming, TV Listings & More

The Stanley Cup playoffs kick off tonight with three games with two from the Eastern Conference and one late night tilt from the Western Conference.  The playoffs are not a sprint but a marathon with the first to 16 wins holding the Stanley Cup in the end.  Tonight is the first step in that long distance race!

Here are the three games tonight with their viewing information!

The Montreal Canadiens vs Tampa Bay Lightning (Game #1)

The Candiens have the most Stanley Cup wins in history but they haven’t raised the Cup since 1993 which is a long drought, they also are the only Canadian team in the playoffs.  The Lightning won home ice on the last day of the season and will need it without starting goalie Ben Bishop who was ruled out of Game #1 with an injury.

Columbus Blue Jackets Vs Pittsburgh Penguins (First Game of the Series)

The Blue Jackets are making only their second playoff appearance ever while the Penguins look to get back to the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time since 2009.  The Penguins swept the season series from the Blue Jackets but this was before their Twitter followers started the 5th line!

Dallas Stars vs Anaheim Ducks (Game #1)

The Stars return to the playoffs after missing out on the festivities since 2008,  while the Ducks are looking for some redemption after having been knocked out of the playoffs last season in round one by the Detroit Red Wings.  The Ducks had another great regular season will they be able to back it up in the postseason this year?
