The Chicago Blackhawks head to the land of 10,000 lakes to take on the Minnesota Wild tonight in Game #3 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals with the Blackhawks leading 2-0 in the best of 7 series.

The Blackhawks can set up a real short series with a road win in Game #3 tonight, but it won’t come easy as the home crowd in the Twin Cities is one of the best home crowd advantages in the NHL.

Last season in the first round of the playoffs, the Blackhawks won both games in Chicago but fell to the Wild in overtime in Game #3 before taking game #4 on the Wild’s home ice.  One of the keys to picking up a road win tonight is a quick start and keeping the crowd sitting on their hands for most of the night.

The Hawks have been a good road team most of the last two seasons, but they are just 1-2 on the road to start the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Look for a strong effort from both sides tonight as the Wild look to get back in to the series and the Hawks look to shorten the series. Here are the view details for tonight’s action.
