Chicago Blackhawks Look To Rebound In Game 4

With the healthy scratch of Nick Leddy in Game 4, Brandon Bollig got the nod on defense which I didn’t really agree with. Leddy is a quicker skater and can help set the fast pace the Blackhawks use to their advantage. I would have at least figured with Bollig in the lineup the Hawks could have been a little more physical with the Wild but they got outhit 22-8 during the game. The Hawks are not a hard-nosed hitting machine though and thankfully Joel Quenneville has reinserted Nick Leddy back into the lineup for Game 4. Quenneville also stated that “Nick is going to give us some speed, give us some pace. He has that quickness to his game that we’d like to be part of our team as well.” So in other words he was trying to boost Leddy’s confidence and let him know he will be used in key situations if he can produce for them. Keep an eye out on Leddy’s return because he will be looking to make a difference to prove to Coach Q he deserves that spot on the D line. Quote compliments of Chris Hine, Chicago Tribune

Expect to see Jonathan Toews motivating his team after the loss. He is one of the best Captains in the league when it comes to getting his team to rally behind him when it matters. He knows that the team did not produce enough in Game 3 to get the win and it will be a key to get a win on the road in this series. With the Wild still undefeated at home in the second round, this Game 4 win could stop the Wild from gaining momentum heading back to Chicago for Game 5. Be sure to check them out tonight at 9:30 ET on NBCS, TSN, RDS. LET’S GO HAWKS!!!
