I never thought i would say this but the Blackhawks need a spark. The Blackhawks appear to be in serious trouble after their Game 4 loss to the Minnesota Wild. Coach Quenneville at one point during the game went to eight forwards. He essentially stopped using Brandon Bollig, Joakim Nordstrom, and Michal Handzus. With Bollig potentially facing a suspension for his huge hit on Keith Ballard in the third period of Game 4, the Blackhawks will be forced to replace his spot in the lineup.

With Game 5 being a must win for the Blackhawks, Coach Quenneville needs to make another tweak the Blackhawks lineup. He needs to play Peter Regin. Regin is savvy veteran who offers size and can play the center position. In my mind Regin would be replacing Bollig in the lineup. Regin could then be paired with Jeremy Morin and Bryan Bickell. This Line was very effective during the end of the regular season. The line helped Morin produce four goals in his last six regular season games. It hopefully would also get Bickell back on track. He has been non-existanat since Game 2.

The Blackhawks need to show up with a better effort on Sunday night if they want to take a series lead. The Regin, Bickell, and Morin line could be the difference maker in Game 5 and in this series.
