Jun 6, 2013; Los Angeles, CA, USA; Chicago Blackhawks right wing Patrick Kane (88) is congratulated by teammates Bryan Bickell (29) , Nick Leddy (8) , Jonathan Toews (19) and Niklas Hjalmarsson after scoring a goal against the Los Angeles Kings in the second period of game four of the Western Conference finals of the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs at the Staples Center. Brian Hedger of NHL.com makes a great analogy out of the Toews and Kane line here in his article titled “Toews-Kane tandem comfortable fit for Blackhawks.” Hedger states, “Playing forwards Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane together has become like pulling out a trusty, comfortable pair of slippers for Chicago Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville.” I can’t agree with him anymore, these two players are something special and with the addition of Bryan Bickell’s presence in front of the net the Blackhawks can defeat the Minnesota Wild. Only time will tell if the Chicago Blackhawks will take it back to the basics. Make sure to see if he does tonight at 9:00 PM on CNBC, TSN, RDS2.
