When the New York Rangers skated off the Madison Square Garden Ice a week ago down three games to one it looked like there was no possible way that the series would make it back to the Big Apple let alone find a way to a winner take all Game #7.
The Rangers have galvinized there entire roster behind Martin St. Louis whose mother suddenly passed away this week and with the urging of his family to play rallied the Rangers to two straight wins including a super emotiaonal goal on Mother’s Day.
The Rangers have a combined record of 62-6 in Game #7’s on their roster while Henrik Lundqvist is 4-0 in his last four Game #7”s with a .963 save percentage.
The Penguins looked like they were cruising with Marc-Andre Fleury playing some great hockey with back to back shut out victories. The Penguins now are facing an offseason of question marks if they can’t seal the deal on home ice when they were so close to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Sidney Crosby and Rick Nash each have scored one goal in the playoffs and it could come down to which one of these stars has the better game to determine tonight’s winner. Here is the listings for tonight’s Game #7 from Pittsburgh
