Blackhawks End The Wilds Luck: Game 6 Highlights

Blackhawks take a 1-0 lead  –  Kris Versteeg (1) Deflected shot – ASST: NONE

An assist should go to Peter Regin, since it was Regin rushing the net put the Wild defender in the position to deflect the shot in.  Versteeg does a great job getting to the puck and getting position to take the shot.  After the fluke goal the Wild scored on Crow in game 5, I’ll take a little puck luck on this one.

Blackhawks win it in OT 2-1  –  Patrick Kane (6) Backhand shot – ASST: Brent Seabrook (9), Duncan Keith (6)

Once again Peter Regin driving hard to the net draws a defender over to him and Patrick Kane has a ton of space to roof one over Ilya Bryzgalov.  The Hawk’s D picks up the assists on the play.  After watching the Wild dominate the first few minutes of the OT, I was happy to see the Blackhawks get stronger as the period went on.  Hopefully the Hawks can rest a few days and get ready for the next round.

The TSN feed didn’t like Kane’s “Showtime” comments and seemed upset that he scored the game winner…. I kind of hope Kane does a back flip as his next celebration while fireworks go off.  That should really piss off the good ol boys.

And finally, yay! Hawks win!

FINAL SCORE:  CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS 2  –  MINNESOTA WILD 1

SERIES SCORE:  CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS 4  –  MINNESOTA WILD 2
