Dennis Rasmussen To Sign With The Blackhawks.

There have been rumors swirling around the Blackhawks. Ryan Kesler to the Blackhawks is the popular player coming to the Blackhawks. In addition to adding Kesler, the Blackhawks have been rumored to be shopping Patrick Sharp, Johnny Oduya, and Brent Seabrook.

The most recent Blackhawks rumor is coming from across the pond. The Blackhawks are rumored to sign Dennis Rasmussen. Rasmussen played in the SHL with the Vaxjo Lakers. He has been with Vaxjo Lakers for the last three seasons. In 2011-12, He scored 8 goals and 9 goals for 17 points in 55 games. In 2012-2013, He scored 16 goals and 12 assists for 28 points in 42 games. His last season was his best season. Rasmussen scored 16 goals and recorded 24 assists in 52 games last season.

Elite Prospects states that Rasmussen is a big strong player who reads the game well. He is a solid role player who drives the net and is good defensively. He is also a strong penalty killer. If the Blackhawks sign Rasmussen, he will join Joakim Nordstrom and Teuvo Teravainen as Swedish prospects in the system. The Blackhawks would add to their Swedish contingent of Niklas Hjalmarsson, Johnny Oduya, Marcus Kruger, and David Rundblad.
