Blackhawks Rewind: Banner Raising

This is the first edition of Blackhawks Rewind! Every Wednesday, we will have a new post allowing you to relive all the greatest games and moments of your 2013-14 Blackhawks season!

To start this series off, lets take it back to the very first moment of the season: the 2013 Stanley Cup Champion banner raising.

After all of the excitement and emotion of the banner raising ceremony, the Hawks played an exciting game against the Washington Capitals. It was a high scoring affair between two potential playoff teams. The Blackhawks won it 6-4, and we saw Brandon Bollig of all score the first goal of the Hawks season. There were also 5 goals scored in the third period, three of them being Hawks goals.
