The Chicago Blackhawks have 8 picks at the beginning of the day for the 2014 NHL Draft. The one glaring thing missing from this years selection order is that their 2nd round pick is gone since it was traded to the Phoenix Coyotes for the seldom used David Rundblad.  Stan Bowman mentioned this ommission during his exit interview so one of the moves to expect from Bowman today is a trade to move into the 2nd round.

The Hawks to pick very early in the third round so this will be a very interesting selection when it comes around to them.  Here is the selection order as it stands right now heading into the 2014 NHL Draft.

Pick 27- 1st Round

Pick 62- 3rd Round

Pick 88- 3rd Round

Pick 98- 4th Round

Pick 141-5th Round

Pick 148-5th Round

Pick 178-6th round

Pick 208-7tn Round

Will Stan make a move today of course he will but will it be a minor move which he excels at or will he swing for the fences one time which is out of his character.  The draft starts at 7 tonight so the question is will there be fireworks before the draft starts or will it all begin during the NBCSN telecast?

What moves do you think Stan will make?
