The Chicago Blackhawks have reached an agreement on a contract extension for young winger Jeremy Morin for two more years.

Morin appeared in 24 regular season games with the Blackhawks last season and tallied 5 goals and 6 assists for 11 points. He also played in two Stanley Cup Playoff games recording no points.

Morin played in 47 games for the Rockford Icehogs this year, and had 24 goals and 23 assists for 47 points.

The Blackhawks have been busy so far this draft day having already agreed to extensions with goalie Antti Raanta and wing Ben Smith.

There are still more players who are Restricted Free Agents that the Blackhawks want to extend. Look for the team to reach an agreement on those players, and also work on extensions for Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews.
