Stan Bowman hasn’t made any big splashed as GM at the trade deadline just trying to make a small move here or there to put the Blackhawks over the top, but due to the salary cap issues the Blackhawks have had he’s made some pretty big trades at the draft.  Here is a look back at all of Bowman’s trades he’s made in the past on draft day.

Traded Michael Frolik to the Winnipeg Jets for a 3rd round pick (John Hayden) and a 5th round pick (Luke Johnson)

Traded Dave Bolland to the Toronto Maple Leafs for a 2nd round pick (Carl Dahlstrom) 4th round pick (Fredrik Bergevik) and a 2014 4th round pick

Traded Brian Campbell to the Florida Panthers for Rostislav Olesz

Traded Troy Brower to the Washington Capitals for a 1st Round pick (Phillip Denault)

Traded Tomas Kopescky to the Florida Panthers for a Conditional 7th round draft pick

Traded Dustin Byfuglien, Brent Sopel, Ben Eager to the Atlanta Thrashers for Jeremy Morin, Marty Reasoner, Joey Crabb 1st round draft pick (Kevin Hayes) 2nd round draft pick (Justin Holl)

Traded Colin Fraser to the Edmonton Oilers for a 6th round draft pick (Mirko Hoefflin)

Traded Kris Versteeg to the Toronto Maple Leafs for Viktor Stalberg and Phillippe Paradis

Traded Andrew Ladd to the Atlanta Thrashers for Ivan Vishnesky and 2nd round pick (Adam Clendening)

As you can see Stan is a busy man come draft day and we can expect more trades at the draft this year with the Blackhawks again close to the cap with move to make. What trades do you think Stan will pull of today and tomorrow?
