Stan Bowman Practices Regin Economics During Free Agency

Before free agency started today two players were looking to return to Chicago Sheldon Brookbank and Peter Regin. Today, Regin gets his wish and returns to the Chicago Blackhawks. With all the crazy deals going down in the Central Division the Regin signing is just a footnote in the Central Division.

Regin had moments with the Blackhawks after getting traded to the team around the trade deadline. Regin was on a very good line with Bryan Bickell and Jeremy Morin in the final weeks of the season. People were begging for Regin to play in the playoffs but Joel Quenneville went with old faithful Michal Handzus instead. The best part of the Regin deal is that it’s very cheap which helps the salary cap strapped Blackhawks
Can confirm @TSNBobMcKenzie's report that Peter Regin has signed a one-year deal for $650,000 with the #Blackhawks.
