We’re heading into the dog days of the offseason, counting the days until the Chicago Blackhawks 2014 season kicks off. We’re going to do a Top 100 list of the all time Chicago Blackhawks. It’s a fun way to pass the time and take a stroll down memory lane.
George Gee Blackhawks Career Statistics (1945-1954)
George Gee played in the second greatest dark age of Chicago Blackhawks history during the late 1940’s and early 1950’s when the team had some of it’s worst records and seasons. Gee wasn’t a superstar but had some real solid seasons averaging 18 goals a season with Chicago but he never was a star of the team with the Bentley brother dominating the goals and the press coverage of the Blackhawks in that era.
Gee like #100 Phil Esposito won a Stanley Cup away from the Chicago Blackhawks but unlike Phil he came back to the team and finished his career with the Hawks. Gee ranks #53 in Blackhawks all-time points and ends up #99 on our list of all-time Blackhawks.
What do you think Too High, Too low or Shouldn’t be on the List?
