The Blackhawks started prospect camp this past Sunday. I was lucky enough to attend the morning session with the “A” prospects. People will question my hockey knowledge and rightfully so. I saw some drills featuring Adam Clendening, Ryan Hartman, Stephen Johns, Mark McNeill, Dennis Rasmussen, Teuvo Teravainen, Trevor van Riemsdyk, Matt Carey, Dillon Fournier, Garret Ross, Philip Danault, and Kent Simpson. Teravainen in my mind has the best chance of making the Blackhawks this season. Clendening might have a chance if they trade a defenseman to get under the salary cap.

Drills were supposed to start at 10:00am. When I arrived at 9:45am, the prospects looked like they were on the ice for some time. They practiced until 11:30am. They worked on both sides of the ice splitting the group into pairs.

I saw some nifty moves from Hartman and Teravainen. I think Clendening chirps more than any other player ever and Johns is huge.

It was a great experience and it was free. I recomend it for any Blackhawks fan. It gives us a glimspse into the future and the future looks bright. I have attached  some of my pictures and some of the video I shot. I hope you enjoy it.
