The convention is here so it must mean we are smack dab in the middle of summer.  Prospect camp is over and after this weekend it will be all quiet on the Blackhawks front until training camp or whenever the Blackhawks deal Michal Rozsival, Kris Versteeg or Johnny Oduya.  In the meantime it’s Blackhawks convention time this weekend and the opening ceremonies will be on for everyone to watch.

Here are the ways to watch the Convention Opening ceremonies tonight

Ceremony Start Time: 5pm Central

TV Listings– CSN

Live Streaming– or any official Chicago Blackhawks app

The celebration won’t be as great as last season well except for the fact that Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane will be around for 9 more years including the 8 more they will be with us after signing their extensions.

Johnny Oduya is in a walking boot which makes his availability in the Finals had the Hawks scored the OT goal a real question. Anyways it’s the kickoff to the convention for all Blackhawks fans enjoy the show no matter how you watch the festivities.
