2. The Nashville PredatorsPekka Rinne/Carter Hutton: Rinne might be the one of the best goalies in the NHL. Rinne was injured early last season and essentially doomed the Predators. Rinne had an injury plagued down year last season. Rinne for his career is 163-98 with a .918 save percentage and 2.39 goals against average. The Predators hope Rinne returns to an elite level next season.

Hutton had to step up and play last season after the Rinne injury. Hutton played well going 20-11 with a .910 save percentage and 2.62 goals against average. This was Hutton first full NHL season, he had made one previous start with the Chicago Blackhawks.
