Saad’s Post Season Stats
Games Played: 44
Saad made a brief appearance in the 2011-2012 season wearing number 43 for the Blackhawks but played a majority of the season with the Saginaw Spirit of the OHL. He followed that up with a stint in Rockford with the Icehogs of the AHL before the Blackhawks’ shortened 48 game season began. Saad revealed talent and patience in his 46 games and earned the affectionate nickname the Man-Child and a nomination for the 2013 Calder Memorial Trophy. He grew a mullet in the 2012-2013 post season along with Patrick Kane and scored 1 goal and 5 assists to help the Blackhawks win their second Stanley Cup in 3 years.
Last season, Saad scored 19 goals and 28 assists in the regular season and gave a strong performance in the post season with 6 goals, 10 assists, and a plus/minus 10. He’s the type of player that fans will want to see stay for a long time, especially if he keeps having magical moments on the ice with his mentor Patrick Kane.
Prediction for Saad this season: 20 goals, 37 assists
