The calendar has finally turned to September and so it’s time to bring back one of our traditional favorites over/under.  We predict the Blackhawks players stats and you tell us if you think they will go over or under those stats! It’s a fun way to preview the season and we look forward to your comments! Is It October 9th in Dallas yet?

Bryan Bickell

Bryan Bickell is a player that gets a lot of regular season complaints because he doesn’t live up to expectations or at least his 4 million dollar a year contract, but come playoff time a switch is flipped and he becomes the power forward everyone wants to see out of him night in and night out in Chicago.  Predicting his stat line is one of the hardest over/under’s you will do in this segment so before we set the number let’s look at last year’s numbers.

2013-2014 Over/Under– 19 Goals 22 Assists

2013-2014 Actual Stats- 11 Goals 4 Assists

To say that Bickell’s regular season was underwhelming is an understatement.  Two things I believe contributed to his poor regular season. 1. Bickell wasn’t ever healthy 2. He was on a different line each night.  Hopefully he settles in on the 3rd line next to Andrew Shaw and Jeremy Morin and has a solid regular season before the bat signal or Hulk transformation happens come next May when Bickell turns into a playoff machine.
