The calendar has finally turned to September and so it’s time to bring back one of our traditional favorites over/under. We predict the Blackhawks player’s stats and you tell us if you think they go over or under those stats! It’s a fun way to preview the season and we look forward to your comments! Is it October 9th in Dallas yet?

Today we look at the two time Norris Trophy winner, Duncan Keith. Keith has been a dominant force on the ice leading the team in ice time for several seasons. Keith paired with Brent Seabrook has formed one of the top blue line pairs in the league.

Keith despite leading the team in ice time has not missed any time. Keith has never played less than 74 regular season games in his career. Keith led the Blackhawks with 24:39 of ice time and he averages 25:17 for his career. Last season Keith tied a career high with 55 assists. His stat line from last season was 6 goals and 55 assists and one Norris Trophy. That was the second best season of his career. Keith surpassed those numbers only once, it was the first time he won the Norris Trophy. In 2009-10, Keith had 14 goals and 55 assists that season.

The bar has been raised for Duncan Keith this coming season but can he keep it up?

2014-2015 over/under-We predict Keith will regress back to the mean of his career. Keith will have 8 goals and 38 assists next season. That is not a bad season by Keith’s standards, it is just an AVERAGE season for him.
