1. Nathan MacKinnon-forward-Colorado Avalanche-MacKinnon was the first player selected in the 2013 NHL draft. MacKinnon lead all scorers with 63 points, 24 goals and 39 assists. He was so impressive that he broke Wayne Gretzky’s longest point streak for a player 18 years or younger. He had a point in 13 games from Jan 25 to March 6. MacKinnon was the Calder Cup Trophy winner and should have another impressive season with the Avalanche.
