2. New Training Facility is Needed

The Blackhawks are class organization and they need their own training facility.  This is the second year in a row the Hawks are starting training camp in Notre Dame and their brand new facility which is cool that it brings everyone together like in the old days.  The Hawks practice and Johnny’s Ice House when they do practice, but the Hawks need their own home and there is talk about a 30 million dollar facility being built outside of the U.C. either way Rocky needs to get this done for the team and youth hockey in Illinois! The Predators just opened the Ford Center and it’s fantastic, the Predators shouldn’t be light years ahead of the Hawks in any way!

1. It’s Teuvo Time

From all projection Teuvo is going to be starting the season in Rockford, but if you watched him play in the rookie tournament you know it’s time for Teuvo to be playing on the ice at the United Center. Brad Richards is a nice safety piece for Teuvo, but the young forwards time is now, with his incredible passing and vision.  Sure he’s quick and small but those guys know how to avoid the big hits.  He has NHL talent and another level of passing skills than needs to be in the NHL not wasted in the AHL next year.

What is your quick thought about training camp and the upcoming season?
