The famous Chicago Blackhawks logo was painted onto the ice at the United Center today.

Members of the Hawks coaching staff, including new assistant coach Kevin Dineen, and people from the community participated in this event. This can only mean that the 2014-15 season is looming ever closer, and it is.

Blackhawks take to the ice for training camp in TWO days, and the start of preseason is six days away. With the season growing closer, fans are more excited than ever to get this season started, and to see what changes will be made in the coming weeks.

The season starts in Dallas on October 9th!

You can see the photos of the ice painting here on the Hawks website.

Is it October yet?
