Dec 10, 2013; Dallas, TX, USA; Dallas Stars left wing Antoine Roussel (21) tries to fight Chicago Blackhawks left wing Jeremy Morin (11) but is separated by linesman Lonnie Cameron (74) at the end of the game at the American Airlines Center. Originally Jeremy Morin was going to be battling for ice time on the 4th line with Daniel Carcillo who both play two different styles of hockey. However, things can change as everyone knows once there are injuries. With the injuries holding out Kris Versteeg and Michal Rozsival it is next man up and both Jeremy Morin and Daniel Carcillo will be centered by Markus Kruger on the Blackhawks 4th line. This is definitely going to be exciting seeing what Jeremy Morin can bring to the Blackhawks in his first season starting in what you could say is a tryout to prove he can skate with the big guys in the NHL. There are plenty of other prospects itching to get their chance to come up and Morin has been down in the AHL previously with the IceHog’s so I guarantee he does not want to go back there anytime soon. He had 5 goals and 6 assists during 24 games played last season, now lets see if he can build on that in his first game this season!
